Pearson Hinchliffe Solicitors Launches New ‘Commercial Law’ Brand

21st April 2008

Pearson Hinchliffe Solicitors has invested in the creation of a new brand to support its four Commercial departments. ‘Pearson Hinchliffe Commercial Law’ will encompass the North Manchester firm’s Employment, Commercial Litigation, Commercial Property and Company & Commercial departments.

The new brand identity will be revealed across the communications platform which includes off line activities as well as a new website. Closely linked to the brand name is the choice of the domain for the dedicated ‘Commercial Law’ website - http://www.phcommerciallaw.co.uk.

Muhammed Shaikh, Pearson Hinchliffe’s Marketing Manager led the branding team and says:
For us branding is very much a holistic process. Of course we want to use it to distinguish in people’s minds that we have four specialist departments dealing purely in legal work for business and commerce. But more importantly, it lends consistency to everything that we do; encompassing a client-centred culture, customer service and legal expertise, right through to visual positioning. The point is that it is far more than merely having nice looking stationery - our brand pervades everything we do, say and achieve for our clients, with the highest quality.

He adds:
We wanted to retain Pearson Hinchliffe’s strong brand equity built up over many years, but also to create a brand that addresses the realities our clients face. We are very pleased that with the help of our design agency Huet Aminto, we were able to encapsulate this in the brand style. This is only the start of our new strategy to consolidate Pearson Hinchliffe Commercial Law’s solid position in the Oldham and North Manchester region.

The new corporate brand colours and elements denote forward thinking, business acumen and reliability, giving an overall effect of the rare quality of strength.

In contrast, the services adopt ‘expert, growth, focus and proactive’ among its keyword highlights, to reflect the ‘Advising, Supporting, Delivering’ strap line. ‘‘Advising, Supporting, Delivering’ not only refers to the business and strategy as a whole, but to each task, challenge and interaction undertaken by Pearson Hinchliffe Commercial Law’s team members.

Having enjoyed unprecedented growth over recent years, most notably in North Manchester’s SME sector, Chris Burke, Partner and Head of Commercial Litigation, is confident the brand will herald a new era in the firms’ history. He says:
I am delighted with our new look as it suits our modern, dynamic approach whilst still retaining an element of the heritage of the company. The main reason for bringing our four commercial departments under one ‘brand roof’ was to support our client focussed strategy, of which moving to new offices near Junction 22 of the M60 was a significant part. It is only right that our image should reflect our value to the local economy, the reputation we’ve earned and the values we hold.
