Edmondson Electronics Ltd makes sparks with purchase of J.E. Wildbore Ltd

26th May 2008

Client: J.E. Wildbore Ltd
Purchaser: Edmondson Electronics Ltd

Oldham’s J.E. Wildbore wholesale electrical company has been sold to a private purchaser and is now part of Edmondson Electronics Ltd.

One of only two electrical wholesalers in Oldham, the company has been run by the Wildbore family since its formation in 1908. The sale enables the current directors to retire and there will be no significant change to customers.

The sale was overseen by Pearson Hinchliffe Solicitors who have acted for J.E. Wildbore for over 15 years, including handling the purchase of larger premises following the company’s expansion in [insert year].

Roger Hinchliffe led the team of solicitors during the company’s purchase and liaised closely with both parties involved in the sale to confirm due diligence and exchange contractual agreements: “We have worked for J.E Wildbore for many years and have seen the company grow substantially; many departments within the firm have worked with the family and we wish them all the best in their retirement.”
